URETHRA-CUTANEOUS FISTULA

The most common and frustrating complication after hypospadias surgery repair is the formation of urethra-cutaneous fistula(fistula is a tract connecting two epithelial surfaces) causing leakage of urine from an unintended site.

PHIMOSIS

Phimosis is a condition in which the tight foreskin cannot be retracted back over the glans penis Foreskin is the loose skin attached to and glides over the glans (head of penis) during urination and erection, but in phimosis this skin is tight and does not allow the normal movement. It is usually not
a problem unless there are symptoms.

PENILE RECONSTRUCTION

Penile reconstruction, or phalloplasty, is a surgical procedure to create the new penis for restoration of its functions i.e., urination and sexual activity.

PARAPHIMOSIS

Para phimosis is a serious condition that manifest only in uncircumcised males, where the retracted foreskin cannot be pulled back to its normal position over the glans penis.

MEATAL STENOSIS

Narrowing or blockage of the urethral opening (the opening at the tip of penis from where urine passes) is called meatal stenosis.

HYPOSPADIAS

It is an abnormality of penis and urethra (a tube connecting the bladder to the tip of the penis, for passage of urine) that is present at birth.

EPISPADIAS

Epispadias is a rare birth defect related to the opening of urethra(the tube that drain urine from bladder).

CIRCUMCISION

A circumcision is the removal of the foreskin(fold of the skin that covers the head of penis) from the
penis.

CHORDEE

Chordee is a condition in which the penile shaft is bent downward, resulting from abnormal development of penis in womb.
