One of the most telltale sign of aging are our hands. With age the skin over the back of the hand
becomes loose and wrinkly making underneath veins and tendons visible. However reverses the
aging process and makes the hand youthful again.
FILLERS

Fillers are a fantastic way to add youthfulness to the hands, it restores lost volume, minimizes
the appearance of veins and tendons and stimulates natural collagen production. The results can
last over a year with immediate improvement seen after the procedure. There might be mild
bruising that resolves in few days.
FAT GRAFT
Day care procedure
Duration of procedure: Around 90 minutes depending on the area
longevity: several years.
Down time; 5-7 days
In fat transfer, fat is harvested from abdomen or thigh through liposuction and then fat is refined
and injected into the hand . It adds volume to the hands' wrinkled areas, covering
underlying vessels and tendons while improving the quality of the skin. Also can be
injected in the fingers.
There might be mild bruising and pain in both donor area and recipient sites. However normal
activity can be resumed in a week. Results are immediate however over time some fat is
absorbed and you may need multiple sessions.
LASER
Outpatient clinic procedure
Duration: 30 minutes to 1 hour
Anesthesia; Local
Longevity: improves skin quality, needs multiple sessions.
Downtime: ablative ; 5-7 days
Laser therapy options often include ablative fractional resurfacing lasers and intense
pulsed light (IPL) to remove outer layers of skin that have been damaged by sun
exposure or premature photo aging. Brown spots and wrinkles on the hands can be
improved via laser treatments. The heat generated in deep tissues from laser resurfacing
also stimulates collagen and elastin production for plumper skin as well. There may be
bruising redness stinging post procedure for dew days.
