THREAD LIFT

Thread lift is commonly called nonsurgical facelift. It is office based procedure to address early signs of aging in a less invasive way as compared to

It may also be referred to as a PDO thread lift (for polydioxanone, a dissolvable material also used in sutures).

Symptoms:

Thread lift is an option for people who have lax but not severely sagging skin. It is better for someone with mild signs of aging and minimum skin laxity. It addresses the lower and middle face and neck. Some surgeons use threads for brow lift.

Procedure

A thread lift is a least invasive face lifting procedure done in local anesthesia. The surgeon passes threads beneath your skin, to lift the face. These threads have tiny barbs or cones that help to grip the skin of the face. Once they are pulled, they give your face a more lifted, toned appearance. These absorbable threads not only suspend the skin, they also trigger a boost in your natural collagen production that can improve your skin’s firmness for up to a year.
