FAQs

What is special care in buttock augmentation with implants?

Buttock augmentation with implants needs special care in the immediate postoperative period especially with supportive garments. You will be asked to avoid constant pressure on the buttock area, lie prone and use soft cushions.

What is the long term problem with buttock augmentation with implant

Implants can displace from their position, rupture and tight capsule can form around the implant distorting the shape of buttocks. If such problems occur, removal of the implant can be considered by the surgeon .Implants also carry a very small risk of anaplastic large cell lymphoma .
